A page can become materially wrong while remaining beautifully written. The 2026 UAE civil code change is the standing proof of it.

What happens to the dates
Each page carries a published date and a last reviewed date. The reviewed date moves only when a person has actually read the page against its sources again. It is never refreshed automatically, because a freshness signal nobody earned is worth less than no signal at all.
Substantive corrections
Where a correction changes the meaning of a page rather than fixing a typographical error, it is recorded rather than made silently, and the prior version is retained internally.
What we cannot do
